With over fifteen years experience in the publishing industry as the Director of Events with a leading publishing house and as a former independent bookstore General Manager and Director of Events, PJ is an expert in the business of writing. Joining PJ will be author and lecturer, Nancy Slonim Aronie, WRITING FROM THE HEART, http://www.nancyaronie.com/. Nancy founded the Chilmark Writing Workshop on Martha’s Vineyard in 1986. She has been writing and performing her essays on NPR’s All Things Considered for many years, as well as conducting workshops and lecturing at The Omega Institute, Wain-Wright House, The Kripalu Center, The Open Center, and teaching at Harvard University.
PJ and Nancy bring together over 35 years of profound writing experience. This weekend will provide a safe place for writers to find the heart and truth of their writing. The writer within all of us will be encouraged to take risks in order to feel, to deal and ultimately heal our wounds so that we can turn our stories into solid gold.
Writing is only the beginning of the journey in producing a piece of work. It’s also about sharing your writing and what you need to know in order to be published.
